The weather is getting warmer, but it is only temporary as we begin the June Gloom season with its low morning overcast.  This summer season has started with a bang, with the release of Top Gun Maverick – if you haven’t seen it yet, it is a MUST SEE to get your juices flowing.

We completed our second Young Eagle event of the year on May 1, this time at Planes of Fame / Cal Aero Country Club, with a great turnout of 46 Young Eagles and 8 pilots and numerous ground volunteers.  The weather was perfect and the event again went off smoothly.   We look forward to our next Young Eagle Events in September and October, with specific dates still TBD.
