– – KLGB Long Beach Airport Main Terminal Tour – –

EAA Chapter 92 has arranged for a tour of the Long Beach Airport. This tour covers a wealth of aviation history, a look at the classic architecture and mosaic artwork, along with a glimpse at general aviation operations.

The Airport tour includes the terminal building, fire station (when available) and a walk through the historic exhibit, which pays tribute to many of Long Beach’s aviation legends. The historic terminal building which was originally build in the 1940’s has been recently renovated, including restoration to a World War II-era mosaic.

Tour runs about 90 minutes. Please note that closed-toe shoes are required as attendees will be walking on asphalt and uneven surfaces. Parking will be validated in Lot A.

We will meet at 10am Saturday March 22nd at:
The Long Beach Airport Center building, 4135 Donald Douglas Drive. It’s located next to the Valet Parking window.
Elliott, our Tour Guide, will be showing a short video inside and then start the outdoor portion of the tour.
You may park in either Lot A or Lot B and we will validate your parking. Please bring your ticket with you.
