There is a saying: “April showers bring May flowers”, apparently originating from a British poet in the 1500’s.  In Britain that timing holds true, but for us in SoCal, we get our rain earlier and the poppies bloom in March.  Hopefully you have survived the “atmospheric rivers” this season and did not get snowed-in for days in your cabin in the local mountains. The skies have now cleared enough to once again take to the air on a regular basis.  And if you fly a Cessna that sits outside on a tie down, better check the low point in your fuselage for standing water.
