TC is the Chief Pilot/Sr. Manager for Southern California Edison and has been with the company for 19 years.\nHe has 13\, 800 hours of flight time in Helicopters with experience in the utility industry\, search and rescue\, military\, EMS\, firefighting and has flown in many different countries across three continents.\nHe started his career as helicopter pilot in the Swedish Army and eventually flew for United Nations Protection Forces during the Bosnia conflict. He also flew in West Africa for United Nations\nHe has been in the aviation industry for 33 years.\nHe holds commercial\, Instrument\, CFI ratings\, all in helicopters.\nTC has been very active in the helicopter industry and got elected by the members to serve on the board of directors with Helicopter Association International (HAI) for 9 years.\nTC was elected Chairman of the board for the 2016/17 fiscal year. Only utility pilot to ever reach that position. He also served as the liaison between HAI and Utility Patrol and Construction Committee (UPAC) for 9 years..\nTC was instrumental in the development of a Wire Strike video\, “Surviving the Wires Environment”\, together with HAI that was launched in 2008. To date over 22\,000 copies have been distributed of this safety video. \n \nThe November meeting will also be our Annual Election of Chapter officers (5) – 1 year term (President\, Vice President\, Treasurer\, Secretary\, Newsletter Editor) and Board members (4) – 2 year term\, 2 selected each year – for 2025.  You must be a Chapter 92 member to participate in our Chapter Election. You should have received an email from EAA Chapter 92 with a ballot.
