DESCRIPTION:– – First Flight Anomalies with Roy Martin – – \nFor our February EAA Chapter 92 meeting\, please join us as we discuss First Flight Anomalies.  \nAs flight test teams approach first flights of their new aircraft incorporating new designs\, it is often advantageous to review issues that other test projects had occur during their respective aircraft first flights. This presentation will take a historical perspective and review anomalies that occurred during the buildup and first flight execution of recent first flights of first article aircraft. Subjects addressed will include issues with telemetry\, communications\, foreign object damage and system malfunctions occurring during high speed taxi and actual first flights of new aircraft designs.
