Young Eagles is "Sharing our Passion for Aviation with the Future"!
EAA's Young Eagles program was launched on July 30, 1992 to introduce young people, ages 8 - 17 yrs., to the world of aviation and provide a flight in a general aviation aircraft. These flights are offered free of charge and are made possible through the generosity of EAA members and volunteers. Since the beginning, more than 1.5+ million Young Eagles have been flown with more that 40,000+ EAA Members volunteering their time, aircraft and expenses to participate. Young Eagles is registered in more than 90 countries and continues to grow.
